Background:

the Israeli occupation of Palestine has been ongoing since 1967. In the last few weeks, the Israeli government has cut off Gaza’s lifelines of electricity, water, and food, along with recently restricting internet and phone access. Footage and media around Gaza has decreased immensely due to the loss of connection. Cutting off supplies and bombing a community of 2 million people is not defense, it is genocide. Israel has dropped more bombs on Gaza in six days than America dropped on Afghanistan in one year. Not including the 5000 deaths in Gaza (with many of them being women and children), ramifications of this war have spread all over the world.

A six-year-old Palestinian-American Muslim, Wadea Al-Fayoume, was murdered by his landlord in Illinois in a horrifying hate crime where the boy was stabbed multiple times. This is a global humanitarian crisis that demands action from the international community. To support Palestine, we urge everyone to continue to educate, Advocate, and Donate.
